Albuquerque Apparel Center is proud to host a Social Media Boot Camp on Tuesday, Sept 22, 2015 at an ABQ location to be announced, from 10:00 – 4:00. The event features Dr. R. Nicholas Gerlich, Social Media and Marketing Director at New Mexico Fashion Week, and Professor of Marketing at West Texas A&M University.
“Social Media are a vital part of any marketing program, whether it is for a company, organization, or individual,” said Gerlich. “Unfortunately, it is often the least understood component.”
The 5-hour seminar costs $65 through Sept 15th, $75 thereafter, and includes hands-on training in all of the essentials of social media marketing. Participants need to bring a laptop or tablet device with them, and have at minimum a website and Facebook page already online.
The seminar is tailored specifically for small businesses and organizations, as well as individual professionals seeking to expand their reach and impact on social media. Gerlich will address existing as well as emerging social sites and techniques, as well as advertising campaigns, brand management, and metrics.
